El Salvador –
Thank you so much for helping me be able to go in this trip. It was amazing! The entire week was so Spirit-led. One story that I think stuck with all of us was when we were only supposed to go to two schools. However, for some reason we decided to go to a third school.
One of our team members was asking the teenage girls if they were happy. Some of them said yes, but most of them said no. One girl burst into tears and said no. Afterwards, Vanessa (our team member) talked to that girl and she told Vanessa that she had tried to commit suicide the day before.
My hope is that she heard God’s voice loud and clear that day saying “you are valuable.” I’ll never know the aftermath and how she felt when the Word was shared with her, but I hope to see her in heaven someday.
