El Salvador

I Just wanted to let you know how grateful I am for the scholarship I got from The Bruce Gilley Memorial Foundation.
The week I spent in El Salvador was life changing, it was the most amazing week of my life. I learned so much and it felt so good to walk in obedience to God, to glorify Him and His kingdom. This was my first ever mission trip, so when we first got there I was super nervous but within 5 minutes I felt this incredible peace. I had no worry, no fear, no stress, I felt like I was at home, right where I needed to be.
During this trip there were some amazing moments, one of them was on the 3rd day of ministry. We were supposed to go to a coffee plantation but instead we went to another program. One of the girls in our group shared her testimony with the girls. During her very powerful testimony, a girl ran off crying. We later found out that she had tried to kill herself the night before. It was so amazing to see the impact we made on someone who needed to hear it by sharing a testimony.
Because of this trip, it was made very clear to me that I’m supposed to be a missionary. Thank you so much for being so gracious and helping me be able to go on this mission trip!
