Saturday, March 14
Our last full day we got to enjoy the beautiful beach. We spent time in hammocks, pools and had a blast on the slide. At one point we even got all 17 of us to go down the slide in one big gigantic line! We were all attached to each other. This sums up our week. We got so close to everyone and were a family. We went back and had a farewell service and the National Staff prayed for us.
A Warrior!
Jason, the young pastor walked over to me and prayed over me. He gave me the biggest hug and said “You are a warrior! Your family will one day know Christ because of how you live. Don’t quit. Don’t ever give up!” At this point I couldn’t hold it in anymore. I let all my tears out and cried for the next 30 minutes. Another friend named Moises came to me and said “I love you.” Morse and I bonded during the week through jokes and laughter.
One Body, One Purpose
The trip was absolutely amazing and life changing. I will never ever forget this week! The National Staff was a great picture of Jesus. The Lord brought nine people from The Experience Church and nine people from El Salvador and joined us as one body and one purpose. The purpose was to love and show people Jesus. I had a blast dancing, being a clown and interacting with kids all week. But I am most grateful for the depth and closeness I got to experience in my walk with Jesus Christ!!
